Pablo Picasso

Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso, known as Pablo Picasso, ( 25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer, one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century.

Most of the art displayed in the Saper Galleries exhibition of original graphics and ceramics revolves around  Picasso’s relations with his various mistresses and wives, sometimes overlapping, sometimes, private, and sometimes public.  It has been said that Picasso changed his companions as often as he changed painting styles.  Many of his portraits are of his wives, mistresses and children.

Whats so interesting about Picasso’s work is his arrangements of forms of how he sees art. His colour use is bold and intense. The way his work portray’s a lot of his life is fascinating and gives though to others.

I love this Citreon Picasso advert which obviously relates to the artist himself. ill never forget this ad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDpvnMKZ_mU
